DESCRIPTION

The Tsurumi UTZ series is an economic submersible vortex pump designed to handle raw sewage and wastewater drawn from domestic and commercial areas. These pumps have a rigid construction to withstand challenging conditions while pumping large and stingy solids present in domestic, commercial, and industrial wastewater. The intelligent sensing of the Tsurumi UTZ pumps also contributes to their longer operational life and energy-efficient performance.

Vortex Impeller
The Tsurumi 50UTZ2.4S uses a vortex impeller. The strong rotational movement inside the pump lets the solid particles and fibrous materials be pumped out with lesser contact to the impeller. Following this operating principle, the Tsurumi UTZ series practically offers non-clog pumping even without the additional installation of cutters or agitators.

Top Discharge Design

The top discharge design of the Tsurumi 50UTZ2.4S submersible pump provides maximum motor cooling efficiency amid continuous operation even at low water levels. This feature is also the reason behind the pump’s extended dry-run capacity.

Large Solids Handling

The Tsurumi 50UTZ2.4S has a wide opening to allow solids with sizes up to 35 mm to pass through without issues. This makes the pump the ideal equipment to use in moving solid-laden liquid such as wastewater.
